Happy Eid to All Muslims

Not only Fez but the whole Morocco is celebrating the famous Sheep feast. I know that you eyes can’t believe what you will see in the Medina of Fez, but it is very real, the slaughter activity taking place is very true.

Killing the sheep is an Islamic Ritual that all Muslims practice all around the world, Following what our father Ibrahim alkhalil Peace be up on in Him did when he saw in a dream that he was slaughtering his Son, and he knew that it was the message from Allah to him. He knew that it was a way to test his faith, and he was so faithful to Allah, and he obeyed what he was told in the dream. Ibrahim was about to do it when Allah sent him a great sheep as a sacrifice instead of his son. Ibrahim was so grateful to Allah, and Just like him ,we, Muslims practice this ritual to show how grateful we are to allah .

Our prophet Mohammed peace be up on him once said” The eid is not just to eat meat but to be altogether as one community all over the world, also an opportunity to share and help poor people who can’t afford to buy a sheep.

Briefly, the eid of the sheep is a way to show that,we, Muslims believe on all prophets, and we do follow them all, as well as helping one anther and being one body and one soul.
